Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions apply to all orders received by Bespoke Furniture 4u.

“Bespoke furniture 4u” “ourselves “ “we” or “us” reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to you and the changes will take effect on the day they are listed. The changes will be shown on our website under this section and all orders received will be bound by these terms and conditions. We would ask you for this reason to read the latest terms and conditions when you place an order. Please contact us if you have any queries regarding our terms and conditions.


1. Goods Purchased


Once you have placed your order we will post or email you an order acknowledgement. This does not represent acceptance of your order

  • 1.1. Credit card payments will be authorised and cheque payments once received will be banked on the first working day.
  • 1.2 When we have received payment authorisation for your order we will confirm delivery details by post or email this is then our legally binding contract between us and our acceptance of your order.
  • 1.3 We would recommend you to keep all correspondence letters, emails relating to your contract and order.
  • 1.4 If we feel it necessary we reserve the right to decline part or all of any order for whatever reason. If this occurs we will contact you with all details.
  • 1.5 All contract details relating to your order are held by us. If you need any details relating to this information please contact us.

2. Payment

  • 2.1 When your order is placed your credit and debit card details will be processed.
  • 2.2 Cheque payments will need to cleared before we can process your order. Cheques are to be sent to our office address.
  • 2.3 If a deposit has been paid final payment ( balance ) must be made before delivery. A payment receipt will be sent to your postal address. If payment is being made by cash on delivery a receipt for the balance will be signed for on delivery of goods by us or any third parties acting on our behalf.
  • 2.4 We will contact you if for any reason your cheque payment is not cleared or credit/ debit card not authorised. In this instance we will ask for an alternative payment method.
  • 2.5 All prices quoted by us include V.A.T. Delivery charges are not included unless otherwise stated.
  • 2.6 All bespoke made items require a 50% deposit of the total order value. Standard manufactured items require a 25% deposit.

3 . Delivery of Goods and Access

  • 3.1 We shall only deliver goods to the address given to us at the time the order was placed unless we have signed written notice otherwise of a new delivery address.
  • 3.2 Our aim is to Deliver your goods by the time period quoted on your order. All delivery times quoted are approximate and will vary depending on the goods ordered.
  • 3.3 We provide a service to remove your old furniture on delivery of your new goods. This carries an additional charge and notification must be made at time of order. The goods removed should be on a like for like basis.
  • 3.4 We ask for all goods delivered to be signed for. When deliveries are made if you are out we will leave a card with our telephone number for you to contact us for redelivery. This may however incur a charge.
  • 3.5 We will unwrap the goods and install / position them in an appropriate place for you unless requested otherwise.
  • 3.6 You will become the owner of the goods and be liable for any loss or destruction of goods once delivery has been made and when we have received payment in full.
  • 3.7 When placing your order please ensure that you have checked and measured that your goods will fit into your home via doors, hallways, stairs or landings and to the final position in the room. We cannot accept responsibility for goods not correctly checked and measured. If you are unsure please notify us and we will be happy to advise you or you can arrange a free Home visit. Free Home visits are available depending on your area please contact us for details.
  • 3.8 Deliveries are carried out by our own van or by courier.

4. Refunds

  • 4.1 We will refund your deposit for your order in the first 3 working days in the event you have ordered in error and wish to cancel.
  • 4.2 Refunds will be given for Goods replaced and still found faulty on delivery.
  • 4.3 Refunds will be given for any goods that are unable to be delivered for whatever reason.
  • 4.4 A deduction will be made for any goods returned that are Damaged further other than what has been stated and recorded. This is to cover for any additional repair costs that we may have to sustain.

5. Damages

  • 5.1 We will make every effort to ensure you receive your goods undamaged and without defect.
  • 5.2 Any goods received damaged or defective at the time of delivery must be shown to the delivery team and will noted accordingly. Any damages or defects found after delivery must be notified to us within 3 working days.
  • 5.3 if any goods are found damaged or defective we will aim to repair the goods back to manufacturing quality standards. If this cannot be done we will replace the item.
  • 5.4 if the goods replaced are still defective or damaged we will refund all money received for this item. This will be the original purchase price.

6. Cancellation by Ourselves

  • 6.1 Bespoke furniture 4u reserve the right to cancel your order if;
  • 6.2 The payment transaction is not authorised
  • 6.3 You fail to provide us with your correct name, payment details including your card address, your delivery address if different from your card address, e-mail address if you have one and telephone number.
  • 6.4 While we will make every effort to meet our customers needs due to unforeseen circumstances cancellations or variations may be made resulting from fire, flood, drought, war ,strike, labour, disputes, Act of God or other causes beyond our control.
